Cadel wins in Wallone

Cycling - World champion Cadel Evens from Australia took the Fleche Wallone Classic race yesterday 21st April, after chasing down an attack from the reigning Tour de France winner Alberto Contador he powered away to victory in a three way sprint.

The results were:

Maidstone United need to bounce back from Mondays 3 - 0 defeat at Hendon, in tonights home game with Bognor Regis at the Homelands (Ashford) 7-45 pm KO. With just one game remaining after tonight this could be the all important resuly, as Bognor are currently in the relegation zone and a win would secure the stone premier divsion place.
