Greipel takes the stage
Green - A £4bn fund has been agreed with the Indonesian government at a Climate conference in Oslo to help curb deforestation of the important rainforest. The money comes in the shape of $4bn from a group of governments - the UK, US, Norway, Germany, Australia, Japan and France - to be used globally to stop more trees being cut down. Indonesian President sated that no more new logging permits would be granted for the next two years. Good news all round I think.
Cycling - The Giro enters its last few days with a tough mountain top finish in today's 195km stage from Brescia to Aprica Live on Eurosport. The next few days will be main dates to decide the overall classification with many difficult mountain passes. The overall remains the same as Andre Greipel took yesterdays stage with a bunch sprint finish.
More to follow as the race unfolds...
